If you’re reading this, you’ve probably been lucky enough to visit Mafia with LHW, or are about to enjoy the adventure of a lifetime within the next few weeks!

I found it truly life changing to swim with such beautiful creatures in the company of utterly awesome women. But I was really sad to hear the reality that none of the Bustani team have ever had the opportunity to swim with the Whalesharks themselves. They see travellers like us come and go with our incredible stories and memories, but the sad reality of life on Mafia is that the cost of swimming with the sharks is out of reach for most locals.

The Bustani team did so much to make our experiences on Mafia truly memorable, so I’m asking you - as a fellow LHW traveller and a recipient of their beautiful hospitality - if you’ll put an extra £10 into a special fund to pay for the Bustani team to go out snorkelling with the Afro’s team?

They have a brief window of opportunity to all do it together as a team on one of the LHW changeover dates, so Ella has negotiated a special price with Muba and has provisionally pencilled in a trip for them on Monday 20th Oct.

The tips we gave to the team are inevitably absorbed into daily living costs, so this is a chance to thank them in an extra special way. I hope you’ll join me and Ella in making this happen!
