Help get Sheringham robotics team to World Champs!

We are a team of driven Year 9 students from Sheringham High School, and we've
accomplished something incredible: we won our regional robotics competition and on the 6th of March, placed third in the National championship - so now we have been invited to the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship (being held in Dallas, USA next month) where we want
to showcase our skills and represent the UK on an international stage.
But we can't do it alone. We are seeking sponsorship to cover our entry fee, travel and
accommodation expenses. With your support, we'll be able to take our skills to the next level and show the world what Norfolk boys can achieve. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us!
Some Background:
We are called Leo, Noah (both 13) & William (14) and we formed a private team, working on our robot after school, in our holidays and at weekends - with no help from any adults. In January, we won the regional competition in Suffolk to gain a place in
the UK National Championship – see link to article below:
We are the first ever VEX IQ team based in Norfolk but VEX is the largest middle and high school robotics programme in the World. In the VEX IQ Competition, students build a robot using snap-together VEX IQ parts to solve an engineering challenge that is presented each year in the form of a game. Teams work together to score points in Teamwork Matches and get to show off their skills individually in driver-controlled and programming Robot Skills Challenges.
“The VEX IQ Competition fosters the development of teamwork, collaboration, critical thinking, project management and communication – all skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.” Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, 2023.
We believe that this experience will be invaluable to our personal and academic growth, and we're determined to represent our country and sponsors to the best of our abilities. So please, consider sponsoring our team and helping us achieve our dreams. We are only looking to cover the costs for The Players, our chaperones are paying their own expenses.
Obviously, the timescales are tight for us to raise the money as the tournament is next month so if you have any questions or want to learn more about our team, please don't hesitate to contact us on our Facebook page - The Players - Sheringham VEX IQ Team.
