Help send Team USA to the 2023 PG Worlds

Dear friends,

Every two years the FAI World Championships of Paragliding (aka “Worlds”) gives nations a chance to compete in racing paragliders - one of the coolest games on earth! This May, the Worlds will be held in the French Alps - one of the classic racing arenas in paragliding.

This edition of the Worlds comes at a time when the competition scene in the US has been burgeoning, with more pilots than ever interested in competitions at all levels. We want to continue on that trajectory, leading our nation towards the top echelon of the paragliding world.

A little about the team:

We’re immensely proud to be fielding a very talented, competitive team this year. Josh Cohn and Andy Macrae have been competing nationally and internationally for over 40 years combined. Evan Bouchier is currently ranked in the top 100 in the world. And we’re excited to announce that this will be the first year any nation has sent more than one scoring female team pilot to the Worlds! Violeta Jimenez and Galen Kirkpatrick have been racing hard at almost every high-level competition for the past couple of years, including the PWC Superfinal. We’re making history, y’all!

Our ask:

We are asking for your help to cover the costs of the competition and coaching so we can field a strong, unified, well-prepared team that will represent the US with pride and distinction.
