Team Hawaii Saltwater Kayak Fishing humbly ask for your support. For the very first time, a Sanctioned USAngling Saltwater Kayak Fishing Regional Qualifier was held at Makena Landing in Maui. The top 10 scoring saltwater kayak anglers from this event were qualified and invited to the National Championships in Pompano Beach, Florida.
This is a huge opportunity and a first for Hawaii athletes, but they really need your support getting to Florida and the National Championship. 100 percent of the donations will go directly to these Hawaii Anglers. These donations will be used to offset airfare, transportation, lodging, kayak rentals, bait costs, and entry fees. The cost to send 10 athletes to Florida is very costly.
Every donation will help, no matter how small. Please let’s show Team Hawaii some love, so they can shine on the national stage. It very well could be, and should be, that our first USA National Champion comes from Hawaii. Canoe fishing is at the roots of Hawaiian culture. The top 8 scoring athletes from Nationals move on to Team USA and to the 2026 PanAmerican and World Championships. This is a huge deal for our Hawaii athletes who’ve worked so hard to get here!
