Hi, we are Team 34, The Rockets, a FIRST Robotics competition team based out of Limestone County Alabama.

FIRST Robotics is a competitive robotics organization that challenges students to design, build, program, and market a robot within a short time frame and then take it to a competition.

However FIRST is MUCH more than just robots. FIRST teaches students life skills such as public speaking, team work, and how to serve others.

Our team is a serviced base team and have been working immensely to spread STEAM throughout Alabama for the past 27 years. Through our 70+ outreach events, 12+ robotics clubs or camps, and thousands of hours of service, our team won the FIRST Impact Award at the 2024 FRC Magnolia Regional.

The FIRST Impact Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST.

Since we won this award, we qualified for FIRST Robotics Competition World Championship in Houston Texas from April 17th - 20th. 53% of our team members qualify for free or reduced lunch meaning that the majority of our students will not be able to help pay for this trip out of pocket.

The registration for the worlds competition is $5,700 and this doesn’t include the travel or food that our team would need. Any donation will help our team and reward us for the hard work and service we have completed.
