Send Taylor to the WAKO World Championships
Hello Everyone!
My name is Taylor and I am a Amateur Muay Thai fighter and K1 Kickboxer for Canada looking for your support! Due to Covid-19, opportunities for competitions have not been possible for me. Without what seemed like any big goals ahead, training consistently throughout this pandemic has been one of the few things that has kept me sane and optimistic about what the future has to hold for me and the sport I love.
This is why I am SO SO exited to announce that I will be travelling to Italy in October to fight for Team Canada in the 2021 WAKO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS for K1 Kickboxing.
Back in 2017, I started my martial arts journey at a local gym in my town "Empire MMA". It was here I met my Kru Achilles who passed on his love and passion for the sport of Muay Thai to me. In 2018, my heart was broken when he passed away and I lost an amazing coach and mentor. I hold myself with my shoulders high to honour Kru Achilles every time I step onto a matt or ring and am committed to carrying on his legacy. I have been so fortunate to have the support and guidance of My coach’s Ryan James and My Kru David Crawley , who both immediately stepped into the role of mentor and coach and had taken me under their wings and have since supported and helped shaped me into the fighter I am today.
Since 2017, I have earned gold status at both the Provincial and National MTO Championships. I have been training hard and will continue to do so in preparation to accomplish my next big goals of competing on a global scale.
I have created this fundraiser to make this dream possible and all contributions will go directly to travel and accommodation costs including
airfare, Hotel/accommodations, ground travel, food, uniforms along with all equipment that will be needed including head gear, gloves shin guards etc.
