Hello, Fredericksburg community! My name is Sydney Jones, and I’m a junior at Fredericksburg High School. This past year, I’ve had the opportunity to become part of the FBG Young Life community, and it has truly changed my life in ways I didn’t expect. Through Young Life, I’ve found a place where I feel accepted, supported, and encouraged to grow—not just as a person, but in my faith.

I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to attend Young Life camp at Crooked Creek Ranch from May 30th to June 7th. This trip means so much more to me than just a week away. It’s a chance to step out of my everyday routine and really focus on my relationship with Christ, to ask questions, to grow, and to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about each other. I know this is the kind of experience that can leave a lasting impact, and I truly don’t want to miss it.

Like many students, coming up with the money for a trip like this is challenging for me and my family. I’m doing everything I can to make this happen, but I can’t do it alone. If you feel led to give, even a small amount would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to being able to go.
