As my friends and family already know, I have been on a journey of health over the last 18 months... working to find peace around my food and a right sized body. I have lost 136 lbs with the help of Bright Line Eating (BLE)  and my Taking Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) group.  I was recently notified that my efforts have been rewarded not only with a NY State award but also with a TOPS International Award !!! I am beyond thrilled and proud !!! I have been asked to attend the International conference and to participate in a photo shoot for TOPS magazine! My husband and I have already made plans at our own expense to travel to Lake Placid, NY in May to accept my NY title and award. Our TOPS club is small and unable to contribute to my travel funds as is normally the practice. Now I am faced with the expense of travel to Portland, Oregon in July and there is just no way my husband and I can afford it alone. At the prompting of my BLE and TOPS friends I am reaching out to my tribe for support. If you feel led to support me in this endeavor by donating to my GoFundMe, I would be most grateful! My flight and our conference attendance fees are covered by a stipend from International Headquarters. Our  approximate unmet expenses are as follows:
Hotel: $1000
Airfare for my husband: $400
Miscellaneous expenses: $200
Our decision to attend depends on our fundraising efforts and needs to be made by May 1, 2019.
