Send Susan to Jerusalem University College!

Hi friends,

I have been accepted into Jerusalem University College this year and am excited to be moving to Israel on August 26! I’ll be studying for a masters degree in the Hebraic Roots of Christianity, a program that requires two years of study. The college sits on the modern day Mount Zion, just outside of Jerusalem’s Old City. While I’m there, I will be traveling around the region with my cohort, spending time in the land where the story I am apart of in this present world and the family of God I have been adopted into began. I’m looking forward to being steeped in colors, smells, sounds, and all the sensory details that make up a culture.

One of my goals for this time is that I write a book from all that I learn and experience during this season. I’ll be writing and continuing to make art as often as I am able as a way to process and share how God is leading my heart through the discovery, wonder, challenges, and delight of my journey in Israel.
