We are thrilled to announce that the SUNSHINE SPARKS Robotics Team has earned a spot at the VEX 2025 World Championship in their first year at Dallas, TX, the largest robotics competition in the world! This is an amazing achievement, and we couldn't be more proud of our dedicated team of 9 talented students. Their hard work, late nights, and teamwork have finally paid off — they’ve earned the chance to compete against the best in the world, and now we need your help to get them there!

The journey to this moment has been nothing short of incredible. Our team meets twice a week after school to design, build, test, and program their robot. They’ve demonstrated outstanding persistence, teamwork, and innovation to get to this point. Their dedication has paid off, and they are ready to take on the world’s best robotics teams in Dallas!

Event Dates: May 12-14, 2025

Departure to Dallas: May 11, 2025

Return to home base: May 15, 2025

Our Goal: $12,000

We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover all of the expenses for our team and coaches. The breakdown of our costs includes:

Round-trip plane tickets for 9 students and 3 adult coaches

Hotel accommodations for the entire team during the event

Car rental (approximately $500 for the duration of the tournament)

Additional flight or accommodation costs for families wishing to attend or for any unforeseen expenses
