Hi my name is Vicki, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my best friend and her beautiful, brave daughter, Summer.

At just 15 years old, Summer has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma. She has already started her chemotherapy journey and yet, through it all, she continues to show extraordinary strength and courage.

After her very first round of chemotherapy, Summer still showed up to her school prom, dressed up and smiling. That’s just who she is, determined to keep living, loving, and dreaming, even in the face of the unimaginable.

Summer is also a twin. Her brother, who is autistic, deeply depends on her presence and care. Their mum, my closest friend is a single parent with no stable income or extended support system. She’s doing everything she can to care for both children, but the emotional and financial weight is overwhelming.

Through all the pain and uncertainty, Summer holds tightly to one dream: to visit Paris, the city that has always captured her heart. I’m creating this fundraiser not only to help her mum with basic living expenses and hospital visits, but also to give Summer something magical to look forward to, a trip to Paris once she’s completed treatment or is strong enough to travel.
