Mission Trip to France – Help Us Plant Seeds of Faith! ✝️

Dear Friends and Family,

We are excited to share an incredible opportunity that God has placed on our hearts!

This September, James and I will be traveling to France on a mission trip with a team from the St. John’s River Baptist Association, and we would love for you to be part of it.

Trip Dates: September 15–24, 2025

Where: Buzançais, Argy, Sougé & surrounding towns, France and Paris

Purpose: Church planting, evangelism, worship, and community-building

What We’ll Be Doing

In the town of Buzançais, where there is currently no active evangelical church, we’ll be working alongside local missionaries to help plant a small group that will become the foundation of a future church. Though a building is under construction, we believe—wholeheartedly—that the Church is not the structure, but the people.

We will also help lead worship, build relationships, work on the church building, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Toward the end of our trip, we’ll spend time in Paris to connect with a Chinese-French church we've partnered with in the past and enjoy some meaningful time of fellowship.

Why This Matters

This mission is about more than just a trip. It’s about planting roots, forming relationships, and preparing the ground for what God will grow in this region. It's about reaching people who may have never experienced the love and hope of Christ.

For James, this will be his first mission trip—and his first time traveling internationally. I (Summer) had the opportunity to serve in France on a previous mission and have seen spiritual fruit even years later. We're both honored to be called to this work and are stepping out in faith.

How You Can Help

First and foremost, we ask for your prayers.

* Pray for the people of Buzançais and surrounding towns.

* Pray for the missionaries already serving faithfully in the area.

* Pray for strength, unity, and open hearts.

* And please pray that God would go before us and prepare the harvest.

* Travel health insurance, airplane tickets

* supplies and small gifts for those we visit

We have received some generous donations and have one last payment to make and we already have the money.

The last costs we will be doing are: a few travel supplies, making bookmarks and small gift ideas for those we meet, and we plan to have cell service daily for one of our phones for safety, etc.
