Hello, My name is Stef, and I work for Heatwave Show Band, a premier youth cover band. At Heatwave Show Band, we strive to provide our students amazing musical opportunities, such as full-day recording sessions in multi-million dollar studios and performances at amazing venues- most recently the world-famous Whisky-A-Go-Go in Hollywood! Earlier this year, 4 of our students were invited to attend this summer's Stanford Jazz Workshop’s Jazz Camp, but due to recent changes, we need your help! Stanford Jazz Workshop’s Jazz Camp is a college-level, week-long summer camp, dedicated to the study of jazz music. For 9 years, we were fortunate enough to have our students sponsored by a generous donor who would provide the full cost of tuition and lodging. We have 4 students registered to attend this year’s camp, but due to recent and unforeseen circumstances, our donor has withdrawn their aid. Stanford Jazz Workshop has graciously offered partial scholarships to each of our students, but we are still in need of an additional $7,500 in order to cover the remaining tuition, housing, and transportation costs. Our 4 students work hard every day to pursue a career in music, and Stanford Jazz Workshop’s Jazz Camp is an incredibly valuable opportunity for their growth!
