Send the STARK POETS to Nationals in 2025

Hello! We are a high school poetry community club that writes, recites, and ignites spoken word poetry. Students from 3 different schools meet at the local library to share their original work and get feedback from peers and coaches. It is a safe space for our young writers to have their voices heard.

We also recite published poems from a curated website in preparation for the Edmonton Poetry In Voice Regionals.

This year we are travelling to Ottawa to be a part of Poetry In Voice Nationals which is a wonderful opportunity for kids across Canada.

We are raising money to help support our group with some of their travel and accommodation expenses so they can fully enjoy the Nation's capital.
