Help Broad Run High - Spartan Stage Studios Get To ITF

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT DONATED! WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT!

Help Spartan Stage Studios get to International Thespian Festival!

This January, Spartan Stage Studios, Broad Run High School’s Theatre Department, attended Virginia Thespian Festival where several students presented Thespys - a showcase of their work in all aspects of theatre. Upon receiving a rating of Superior, students are moved on to present at the national level at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Spartan Stage Studios received 4 superiors at VTF this year: Lilli Howard for Solo Musical Theatre, Hannah Visser for Solo Musical Theatre, Hailey Smith, Lilli Howard, and Hannah Visser for Group Musical Theatre, and Santino Castillo for Scenic Design. Beyond this, Santino Castillo was chosen as the Main Stage Scenic Design Thespy for which he received the honor of top in his category statewide.

This is an amazing opportunity but per student it is about $2k with travel, lodging, and registration fees, no donation is too small!

These talented students received such an incredible honor that showcases not only their talent, but their dedication to their craft. However, with great honor comes a great need to raise funds to cover travel, lodging, and other expenses. We kindly ask for your support to make this huge opportunity come to fruition. Your donation will directly help give these young thespians the honor of presenting their work at the national level and experience invaluable opportunities through classes, workshops, and interviews.

Thank you for your support!
