Send Sixto to Tanglewood

As part of his journey to become a professional bassist and educator, Sixto has chosen to spend his summer studying orchestral music. After an intense audition process, Sixto was offered a position at Tanglewood in Boston.

It is an enormous honor to be offered one of the coveted bass spots at Tanglewood, and that honor comes at a hefty price.

BUTI (Boston University Tanglewood Institute) costs over $8,000 for the 6 week program, plus airfare for Six and his bass from San Antonio to Boston.

While we are happy to support his career goals and love for music, the price of the camp is beyond the budget we've set aside. Sixto applied for scholarships with the programs, but unfortunately was not awarded help from the institutions themselves.

Sixto asked me to reach out to his family and friends to ask for assistance so he is able to accept the spot offered.
