Send SIM to AMS!
Hello!
My team and I are honored to announce that our MS HCDE capstone project "SIM: The Social Robot" was accepted into the International Conference for Social Robotics (ICSR17) this year! The conference takes place early August in Amsterdam.
For those unfamiliar with social robotics, the ICSR17 is the most prestigious social robotics conference and organization in the world. This is truly a rare opportunity for our team as much as it is exciting for the HCDE community as human-centered design is not yet prominent in the field.
A few of our team members will be making their way overseas to present our research, but we need a bit of help (i.e. new robotic parts, travel, lodging, poster printing, informational material, etc.). We are reaching out to you for your support so that we may share our hard work with the right audience and advocate for human-centered design and engineering in the social robotics space!
Your support and/or generous donation will be greatly appreciated! We would like to thank all our supporters by honoring your donation in our presentation.
+ ABOUT SIM +
SIM: The Social Robot is a functioning prototyping of a social robot designed to build and sustain long-term, meaningful relationships with humans.
