This March, Silver Chips staff will attend the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) convention in New York City, and we need your help funding our trip! During the 3-day convention, Chips staff will be able to attend journalism sessions and workshops. The money raised will go directly towards the convention fee and accommodation for Chips staff who need financial assistance.
Silver Chips Print is Montgomery Blair High School's award-winning newspaper. Silver Chips was established in 1937 and is entirely student-run and funded. Today, Blair is the largest public school in Maryland and boasts a diverse student body. The diversity of its student body is reflected in La Esquina Latina, the Spanish language section established in 2003, and is one of the few student newspapers in the country with a 6-page Spanish section.
