Hi everyone. It Shoshana, Serenity's Mom, chauffeur , chef, and main

cheerleader in life. 

 

I created this fundraiser to assist in the costs of sending Serenity to her first official sleep-away summer camp. She was given a scholarship to attend the Long Lake Camp for the Arts in Long Lake, New York.https://www.longlakecamp.com/  We just need to come up with the remaining balance and plane ticket.

 

Serenity turns 13 years old this summer and needs some constructive and meaningful moments in her time off from school.

This year she worked hard at her grades and enjoyed trying

various sports, such as volleyball, basketball, and track. She also learned Acro dance and got to perform in the spring recital.

Her courage to try new things and expand herself is inspiring.

After the pandemic, we were displaced from the community we both called home since Serenity was born. Our new home is rural, and we are blessed to be a part of it, but it has little to no art outlets nor summer activities for children her age.

I find this age and time in a child's life is just as crucial as any other but requires more time with peers and learning social behaviors.

 

With the help of others, she will attend a 3 week-long summer camp experience packed with tons of art and sports outlet activities. The cost of camp and flights will be needed and used to make her dream come true. Her birthday is on the first day of camp!
