Send Selaam to Perform at Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

Hi, I’m Selaam Meharie!

I’m an advanced 8th grader with the honor of marching with the L.D. Bell High School Band in Hurst, Texas.

This year, we’ve been selected as one of the few bands in the nation to perform in the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’m beyond excited to represent my school and community on such a big stage.

I’m currently fundraising to cover the travel costs so I can join my band in NYC—and I need your help to get there!
