"Send" Sarah Grace to Nairobi

Hi everyone! So, change of plans! As most of you know, I am currently enrolled in graduate school at American University where I am working towards my master's degree in public policy. You may also know that I planned on studying abroad in Brussels, Belgium this summer. However, this opportunity is no longer available to me due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

But not to worry! In place of the Brussels program, I have been given a chance to participate in a virtual internship through one of the university's other study abroad centers. I have chosen Nairobi, Kenya where I will be working remotely with a non-profit organization, advocating for women's rights globally. I am overwhelmed with excitement at this new opportunity, and cannot wait to get started. Due to the changes of the program, I am no longer responsible for trip expenditures, and that has decreased the overall cost of the program significantly. Now, I am only responsible for about $4,750 dollars, and I know I can get there with your help! Please consider donating and sharing this post if you can.
