Send Ryan to school

In the summer of 2018, The Vickreys and I had the opportunity to travel to Madagascar and the experience forever changed our lives. The vibrant people left such an impression on us. One of those people is Rakotoarisoa Lafatra Hanitriniaina. She is a teacher and puts her heart and soul into not only teaching, but helping her village succeed. When we have sent money to help our friends, she was right there to help facilitate getting it to the village. The journey requires her to take multiple buses that she pays for out of her own pocket so that the village itself gets every cent. She will walk to numerous schools and pay tuition fees for other students she's only met once or twice.
Lafatra has an opportunity to put her youngest son Ryan into the same English school in Antananarivo that her other children, Kanto and Ranto attend. Today, Ryan is attending a different school which just isn't the same. Lafatra is a teacher at the school and gets tuition reimbursement for up to two kids. This leaves Ryan out. Sending Ryan to the same school as his siblings, Kanto and Ranto, will be life changing for this family. At just 8 years old, Kanto is fluent in English, French, and Malagsy.
Gary, Austin, and I would love to be able to send Lafatra the money for Ryan's tuition. We are calling on our friends and family to help us reach our goal and give back to Lafatra as she has given her community so much. We know that by investing in Ryan's future, we are investing in his community. $1,800 pays for his first year and then it's $1,000 every year after that. We'd love to help pay for as many years as we can with your donations!
