My husband, Cerrome Russell, is one of the smartest, most gifted comedians I've ever had the privilege of watching. From improv to stand up, social media to tv, Cerrome turns the ordinary, everyday things into something worth laughing about. I have watched him grow in his stage presence, his timing, his ability to read a crowd and his ability to appeal to audiences everywhere. But I have also watched him struggle to turn his gift into a business. This campaign is to help him do just that. Your donation will help us get Cerrome back where he is most comfortable - touring the country, making people laugh until it hurts. All proceeds from this campaign will be used to cover membership fees, showcase fees, travel and promotional materials for #NACA17, one of the country's largest student activities associations. This is also an opportunity to get representation as well as bookings, which will help him turn his gift into a sustainable career.
