Send Robo Rhinos to the Vex World Competition!

We are a Vex Robotics team from Freedom, WI. On March 13, 2022, we competed at the Wisconsin State Vex IQ Robotics Middle School Championship and received the Innovate Award. This award qualified us to move on to compete at the World Vex Robotics Championship in Dallas, Texas, on May 8-10, 2022!

 

The VEX IQ Challenge Innovate Award recognizes a team’s ability to implement an effective and efficient robot design process. Their Engineering Notebook and discussion with the Judges demonstrated our team’s ability to produce a quality robot with minimal adult assistance.

 

Most of our team has been competing in Vex Robotics for several years. This season, Sam (7th grade), Jonah (6th grade), Jason (6th grade) and Alex (5th grade) chose the team name Robo Rhinos and started working in September. They invested countless hours into designing, building, coding, and testing their solution to this year's challenge, Pitching In:

 

 

This is the first time our team has qualified to compete at the World Championship, and they have worked very hard to earn this honor. We will be incredibly grateful for any support you give towards this trip's travel and lodging expenses. Thank you so much!!!
