Hi, my name's Andre and putting together this crowd fund to help our brother Rami Salem catch a plane ride home to spend some time with his ailing father who seems ready to depart on a ride of his own.

Rami has been there for us with his genuine style of love and kindness for 20 years as a fixture in Kensington Market and he provided shelter and support to me, where I would have suffered quietly, on more than one occasion.

We all see the way he brings up the vibe with his signature cheerful disposition and it pains me greatly to think of his suffering quietly over the distance between here and there.
