Send Power Hawks to the 2025 World Championship

Donation protected
We are the South River High School Power Hawks and we need your help!

We’re honored to hopefully represent Maryland and our community at the 2025 FIRST® World Championship in Houston, Texas. But we can’t get there without your help.

We need to raise $26,000 to register, compete, and travel to Worlds. ($5,000 just to register for the competition, in addition to safe transportation of the robot, hotels, travel expenses for team members to and from the event plus while there).
No amount is too small—or too big! Every dollar helps us bring our message of innovation, inclusion, and STEM advocacy to the global stage this year and for years that follow!

Donate today and help the Power Hawks soar to Worlds!

Thank you for believing in the power of students, science, and service.

Together, we can build the future—one robot at a time.

Who We Are:
Founded in 2003, Power Hawks Robotics is one of the oldest FIRST teams in Maryland and a proud NASA House Team and 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our commitment goes far beyond competition:
• Global Mentorship: We’ve supported teams across the U.S., Micronesia, and China.
• Diversity & Inclusion: We’re ambassadors for FIRST® Like a Girl and the founders of the AccessibilityFIRST Initiative, advocating for inclusive and accessible robotics events.
• STEM Outreach: We lead events, mentor youth, and promote STEM in schools, Boys & Girls and at local competitions.
• Policy Advocacy: We represent robotics students at the Maryland and National Advocacy Conferences, working to ensure funding and support for STEM education.
• Innovation & Environmental Stewardship
We don’t just build robots—we build real-world solutions. Partnering with the Arundel Rivers Federation, we built a fully functional underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to monitor and protect the Chesapeake Bay. We’re the first high school team to use a BlueROV for real world data collection in the country.

*If for any reason we do not qualify for Worlds during district competitions 4/3-4/6/2025, any funds raised will be used toward our robotics program.
