My name is Peyton Marshall. I go to Honaker High School, where I hold a 3.75 GPA. I am currently enrolled as well in the Russell County Career and technology Veterinarian Technician program, graduating in May of 2026 with a Certification as a Veterinarian Technician. I play Softball for the Virginia Phoenix- Cordle team and we are based out Southwest Virginia. My team is ranked # 1 in the State of Virginia and #4 in the Nation. We compete in College Showcase Tournaments and National tournaments in Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

I was given the opportunity to go play softball with THE CUP NL 2026, in PARIS, FRANCE and in the NETHERLANDS, January 14th -21st of 2026. There are only a few selected girls selected to attend. I believe its 30 from the US that go to play. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to be exposed to different styles and techniques of softball. Which I am looking forward too. I will be playing indoor tournaments against some of the best softball players in the world. I am really looking forward to that.

The total cost of the trip is $4,500 and I plan on trying to raise the money to go myself. Any extra that is raised will go towards- help with a passport, Food, extra Luggage fees, and let’s not forget any touring I get to do in my free time. I feel as though an opportunity like this will only happen once in a lifetime and I want to fulfill this dream of going abroad and playing some Softball.
