Send Pete Lind to Fight for UPS Workers' Rights
Donation protected
Welcome!
We're trying to hit a goal of 2,000 dollars to send Shop Steward, Pete Lind to the UPS-Teamsters National Grievance panel in Chicago this June.
Pete filed a class action grievance on behalf of his coworkers who have been overworked for years in the Maple Grove UPS facility. The drivers in that building have been pushed beyond their limits mentally and physically. Pete's grievance is forcing the company to hire the necessary staffing to reduce the overtime to a manageable number to where UPSers in Maple Grove can have a life outside of work.
Because of the Teamsters Local 638 by-laws, on non-termination related cases, the member (Pete) has to pay their own way to the panel hearing. Our goal is to raise the funds needed to cover Pete's lost time at work as well as his travel expenses for the 4 days he would miss in June while fighting for justice in his Center.
We appreciate any level of support.
