Pachuca Dragons 04 team won the 2019 National Cup XVIII Southeast Regional Tournament in NC last Monday, earning our second consecutive opportunity to compete in the National Cup Finals July 17-23, 2019. Please help us to raise travel funds!!! We have three weeks to get across the country to Denver…
Last year, the Pachuca Dragons 04 team won their first Regional title and travelled to Aurora, Colorado. All three matches were very close, competing against top tier teams from across the country.
Fast forward to 2019…we’ve been training hard all year, and...we did it again! We are HUNGRY for the National title this year. Our players (aged 13-15) compete in the National League Conference of the Eastern Development Program, practice 3-4 days a week, year round, even in the cold...and are very passionate about soccer. Our hard work has paid off and we are now ranked #10 in the state of Maryland. Many of our players are on scholarship and have been a part of the club since they were 6 years old. We need to get the WHOLE TEAM to Colorado.

About our Club...Pachuca FC USA is a non-profit organization created in 2008 to promote the development and growth of youth soccer for the large number of financially disadvantaged kids in our County. Our Club is committed to making sure that all players gain more than just athletic acumen. Our philosophy is simple, We strive to strengthen the bounds between children of different socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures. Pachuca FC USA is investing in the future of the kids, and thereby the future of the community. Using their school grades and soccer skills the players seek to eventually receive a College scholarship; to date we've sent 200 kids to College with partial or full ride from community college to IVY league! Unfortunately, playing soccer is very expensive in this region. The club has won several State Championships as well as Regional and National competitions, and teams achieving #1 in the Nation. Our players most of the time practice with deficient equipment. We do not have a field for practice - we depend on the county for fields, our competitors are very powerful clubs that always get what they need. In winter we continue to practice, outdoors wherever we can find space…with 32 degrees or lower of temperature. We have to pass back soccer shoes and uniforms for our younger players! Yes, here in America!
