Send P to Italy

Hi Mom of an Amazing Kid., P. P is a self driven brilliant kid. Very involved in student Government, ROTC, orchestra, theater, YMCA youth Government program. All the while maintaining a strong sense of community involvement and volunteering for many community outreach programs. This kid is incredible. With all that They have also been a wonderful sibling to their non verbal, mentally delay brother. From working with him on social behaviors to practicing ASL with him, that just a minor list of what they have done to help him. I am extremely blessed to be a part of P's life and want to see them achieve everything they want. However due to medical care, basic life needs extra funds are just not something we have. P finally asked for something. First they wanted to go to Washington DC, it was for a school trip. I was ecstatic and thought I could make it work. Unfortunately emergency car repairs and emergency hospital trips and time off from work set us far behind on making that financial deadline. However another opportunity has come and P is more excited about and that is a school trip to Italy. For this kid, who has held a strong passion for Palentology since they were 5 this chance to see world history firsthand is a deep desire for them. It is school sponsored for a week. They are not legally able to work in the state we live in as of yet. So their ability to work to get the funds in time won't happen. Trust me this kid has researched to try to make this happen. I'm hoping, if anything to earn enough to help them go. The asking donations cover the whole trip.
