Our sister Marisa recently had some serious medical challenges. After a week-long stay in the hospital, due to suffering a massive stroke, we are so excited and relieved to share that she is bringing her recovery journey home. While she is kicking some serious post-stroke butt, now we are asking for our family and friends to come around and offer their support for her recovery. While she is making incredible progress, we know there will be months of work ahead of her.

These funds will help cover medical costs for her hospital stay and continued therapies and treatments that insurance does not fully cover over the next few months, as well as living costs as she will be out of work for the foreseeable future. The neurologist explained the progress needs to be measured in weeks as her brain works on healing itself. There are often 3 steps forward and 1 step back.

We hope to take some of these worries off her mind to help her fully concentrate on getting back to the independent Marisa we all know and love. Any support that you can offer is greatly appreciated!
