Send our BPMS DI teams to Globals

We have had local families, friends, and businesses donate to our teams directly so we are able to change our gofund me goal!  We are so close to sending these two teams to globals!!

We are The Howe Boyz + and The Three Musketeers, and we participate in Destination Imagination. D is an educational academic program that has helped us learn and practice valuable skills like creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork through different competitive, STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) Challenges.

 

We are two teams of 6th-8th graders from Beach Park Middle School we are excited to announce that we placed 1st and 2nd place at the Illinois state tournament and now have the opportunity to present our Challenge solution at Global Finals—an international competition where we will compete against teams from around the globe.

 

This year, Global Finals will take place in Kansas City, Missouri. Teams attending Global Finals are responsible for covering their costs (registration fee, travel, room, board, etc. We are looking for people to support our efforts in taking our award-winning solution to compete against the best in the world.

 

We are hoping to raise $11,000 to help with our registration fees. Any additional funds raised will go to help cover travel, housing, and meals.
