Hello! My name's Otto, and I was invited to attend a journalism conference in Washington D.C. this summer. This fundraiser is my attempt to humbly request your assistance in funding this trip, so let me give you some background information on what I need it for. The WJMC is a unique opportunity relating to journalism that provides motivated high school students from around the country with an opportunity for hands-on experience in the Nation's capitol, with keynote speakers representing the biggest major media organizations in the country showing students firsthand what it's like to live as a journalist. In addition to this, students also receive college credit from George Mason University following the course's completion and experience college life over the 5-night stay at GMU's dorms. Personally, this experience is exactly what I've been looking for, and your small donation could set me well along a path that I am passionate about, and give me a head start towards college. This fundraiser is meant to cover the entire cost of the conference trip, so any donation would be immensely appreciated!
