Hey all! I'm majoring in German and getting my certification to teach said language.
This is the trip of a lifetime! The 500th anniversary of Martin Luther tacking his 95 theses on the church wall, in Wittenburg! (Aka Lutherstadt) in addition to this being a huge opportunity, this trip will bump me up two class levels, and allow me to graduate on time.
If this is sounding good, trust me, it gets better.
The goal here covers my airfare, room and partial board (2 meals a day), as well as tuition (6 credits hours!) and any excursions I go on while in Germany for five weeks! Meaning! This is the whole shabang! I'll be staying with a host family for total immersion into the culture and language.
Every little bit counts! It has always been my dream to travel the world and I've never even left the states! You'd be giving me the greatest gift I could ever receive: an experience that can (and will) change my life.
In addition to this go fund me, I myself am working and penny pinching as much as I can while maintaining my grades and working during breaks. I am also in the process of applying for some scholarships, but I'm not sure how much I'll get for a summer semester.
