Dedication. Grueling Practices. Time Management. Mental Toughness.

 

These are just a few of the traits Olympia Area Rowers showcase daily - and it projected 16 youth rowers onto a national stage. On May 22, kids from the greater Olympia area qualified for Youth Nationals. In just two weeks, they will head to Sarasota, Florida to compete against the best rowers in the nation.  This is the largest group OAR has ever sent to Nationals and the kids are pumped to race.

 

Help us raise funds to cover the transportation costs (boat trailers and equipment rental, entry fees, coach airplane tickets, hotels and cars). Each individual family covers their own travel expenses but the dollars raised here will go toward the group costs to get our coaches and equipment to Sarasota.  

This racing experience caps off an entire year of hard work. Thank you for your generosity.
