I am posting this with permission from Jemma and Mel Farleigh.

As many of you are aware Jemma and Mel lost their dear dad so unexpectedly recently.  They have had the most traumatising last few months and they were so looking forward to him coming home shortly after being away since Christmas.

Steve was such a wonderful, caring, selfless man. He worked so hard his entire life and never asked for any help, but unfortunately he was not in the position to retire and hadn’t worked since December 2020.

Throughout this whole journey people have been so helpful and kind. Jemma & Mel can't believe the outpouring of love and support they have had for their lovely dad.

All along this whole process they have done everything they could to get dad the best care and to get him back home.  Unfortunately this has not ended the way everyone hoped and now they have to concentrate on the darker days ahead.

Jemma and Mel have had so many people contact them with offers of help and support. I’m sure everybody would love to give Steve the send off he deserves and help relieve the financial burden of a funeral.

Thanks again for all of your lovely thoughts for  Superdad.

He is now a shining star.
