Send off expenses for Jerry McEver

On Friday September 17th, my dad passed away very suddenly. Through all of this, I have seen such an outpouring of love for my father from people that knew him his entire life to people that only met him once. That he left that kind of impact on anyone that knew him, no matter the capacity, means the world to us. I was very hesitant to do this, but at this point it is all we have left to do. He did not have any kind of life insurance to cover his last expenses. The only “family” he has left is my sister and I, his grandchildren, and his mother. I say “family” because I know his family is so much bigger than that. We appreciate any help we can get, no matter how big or how small.

Because of his life long passion and support of music, drum Corp, and JSU any money left over after his expenses are paid will be used as a music scholarship in his name to a band student going to JSU next year. I know no better way to honor his memory than to support something he loved so much.
