Send NBBP Lifeguards to USLA Nationals

The North Bethany Beach Patrol is sending 7 lifeguards to compete in the USLA National Lifeguard Championships in South Padre, Texas from August 6-9. They qualified for nationals at the USLA Mid-Atlantic Regional competition on July 10th at Tower Rd.

Our Women's Landline Rescue team (Sophia, Caroline, Nicole, and Ashlyn) placed 1st overall in Sussex County (4th in Mid-Atlantic Region) and Ashlyn placed 2nd in the Region for the 90m sprint. Sanne and Sophia earned 4th in the Womens Rescue Race. Todd Roselle competed in Age Group Beach Flags and took home the gold!

NBBP competes at the USLA National Lifeguard Championships with the Sussex County Lifesaving Association. The SCLA is made up of state, municipal, and private beach communities along the Delaware coast. The SCLA placed 3rd in Hermosa Beach, CA at the 2022 USLA National Lifeguard Championships and 2nd in 2023 at Virginia Beach, VA.

We have already raised $4,000 out of our $12,000 goal! Please help us raise the remaining $8,000!
