Send Nathaniel to Seattle

Growing up in Chicago and studying in Macomb has shaped me into a very driven young man. Leaving Illinois means a completely new start and a giant step forward.  That doesn't mean that I won't miss my friends and family here in Illinois because they have made it possible for me to be someone who can pursue his dreams. But I love the idea of moving forward and making accomplishments along the way and that's why as a young man I want to move to a new city and become the musician that I want to be. 

 So. I’m packing up and moving to Seattle. Why do I want to move to Seattle Washington? Before I even visited Seattle I knew for a fact that Seattle was going to become my home! Some of my favorite musicians, bands, and genres of music were created there! Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, and this list goes on forever!

I visited last spring, and as soon as I left the SeaTac airport I knew I was in the right place. I didn't feel like a tourist but felt right at home when I went to a couple of bars and saw Tauk and Umphreys McGee and felt like I belonged here! I strongly believe and know that my musical talents will grow and thrive in Seattle.

So on May 1, my good friend Joe Dempsey is going to pick up me and my dog Gooch and we’re going to drive west to Seattle. If you can help with the cost of the move and a little rent money until I can get settled and find a job, I would really appreciate it. We promise to send pictures from the road.
