My name is Nathanael Abraham and if you're reading this it’s not too late…

There are many things that motivate me in this world but if I had to choose two things, one would be the smile and joy that come from kids, and the second would be the unconditional love of God. Ultimately they both play a huge role in my life, as it's my passion to be an “older brother” to children all over the world and show them the unconditional love that God has for every single child. 

Looking at my past, present, and future self God has led me to be a caregiver, a protector, a playmate, a listener, and ultimately an example of Him for every kid I interact with. Especially this year, God has led me to a mission’s organization called YWAM to be able to spread His love and joy to kids everywhere - not only locally but internationally. Youth With a Mission (YWAM) is a non-profit Christian organization that focuses on training and equipping the next generation of missionaries. To do this, they offer 3 months of classroom training in what is called the Discipleship Training School (DTS) and 2 months of active missions work.

With that said, I have decided to attend the YWAM LA base for the next couple of months. I have been accepted in their Compassion Discipleship Training School, focused on responding to a hurting world by ministering the compassionate heart of God.  Being able to attend YWAM will open many doors and opportunities for me, because it will expose me to the issues in the world at large. I will be able to go out in the world and display the love and heart of God for every child I interact with. 

My journey with YWAM will begin on January 7th, 2021 where I will spend 11 weeks at the Los Angeles base for my lecture phase learning what it means to be a compassionate human being and how to bring love, justice and hope to children all over the world. We will then set out to do an outreach for 2 months, where each DTS will be sent to different locations around the world. 

Without a doubt I believe that God will do miraculous things during my journey! However, this is something I cannot do on my own. Therefore, I am reaching out for support in two ways. First I'd like the support of prayer, specifically prayer for safety through my journey and preparation. I believe that prayer goes a long way because I know there is nothing too big for God to handle.

Second I am asking for financial support and that you prayerfully donate to my trip so that I am able to participate in this incredible opportunity. My goal of $10,000 will go towards the cost of the school, food, and travel expenses. Also please keep in mind every donation, no matter how big or small goes a long way! Think of it as investing into the future of our world, because ultimately when you sow into me your sowing into the next generation.
