Help Me Represent Connecticut at National History Day!

Hi everyone,

My name is Mya, and I am incredibly honored to share that I have qualified for National History Day 2026 after advancing through local, regional, and state competitions here in Connecticut!

For the past three years, I have dedicated countless hours to National History Day because I truly love history, research, and storytelling. Each year I worked hard enough to make it all the way to the State Competition, and this year, all of that hard work finally paid off — I earned a spot at the National Competition this June!

National History Day is more than just a school project. It teaches students critical thinking, research skills, public speaking, creativity, and confidence. Competing at Nationals is a once-in-a-lifetime educational opportunity where I will meet students from across the country who share the same passion for learning and history.

Unfortunately, the cost of attending Nationals is expensive. Expenses include:

• Travel

• Hotel accommodations

• Competition fees

• Transportation

• Meals and project materials

I am asking for help from family, friends, and our community to make this dream possible. Any donation — big or small — would mean so much to me and help me represent Connecticut at the national level.
