Send my dad to Israel

I want to send my dad, David Haladay, to Israel as a blessing to him for his love, devotion and all the sacrifices he made to care for my mom during her life. He was married to my mom for 51 years and she passed away this past June. For 51 years he devoted his life to taking care of her, as she was in a wheelchair and had polio. That past ten years or so, she was completely bedridden and depended solely on him and his care, so his world consisted of a 2 mile radius of home and Trinity Church in Lubbock, where he teaches and is an elder. My dad had an opportunity to visit Israel last year with Trinity, but because of my mom's health, he was unable to go. When I saw the excitement he had in the brief time he thought it might be a possibility, I asked the Lord to please let that become a reality for him one day. I hope and pray for him to have that opportunity again.

My dad has the strongest faith of anyone I have ever know. It is unwavering. Even as we faced the death of my mom, his faith and trust in the Lord never wavered. One thing that especially sticks out to me is an incident that happened the day my mother passed away. My father and I had to make the choice to take her off of life support. My dad never left her side and held her hand the whole time. It wasn't the peaceful slipping away that we had hoped and was extremely hard on both of us. A few hours after she passed, my dad and I went to Taco Villa (lol) to eat and just decompress. The manager came up to us to ask if everything was okay, and struck up a conversation with my dad. The conversation ended with my dad speaking blessings over this man. I looked at that manager and said, let me tell you something about this man sitting across from me. Just a few hours ago, he lost his wife of 51 years, but his faith in the Lord is so strong, that instead of grief, he is praising Jesus and speaking blessings on others. May we all have that same faith and strength in the Lord. 

The cost for this trip is $3800 and can be verified at https://beltway.mymissionsapp.com/missiontrips . I plan to donate to this as well, as I am financially able too. If I was able to fund the whole trip, I would in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I can't.
I have put the goal as $5000 to cover the Go Fund me fees and provide him with some spending money. I want to surprise him with this trip, so if you know him, PLEASE do not say anything to him. He doesn't have Facebook, so I think I am safe.
