Help send MSU Polo to our 1st National Tournament
Donation protected
For the first time in Michigan State University Polo Club’s history, a team has qualified to compete in the United State’s Polo Association’s Division II Women’s National Tournament. Held at Central Coast Polo Club in Los Osos, California, our championed women’s varsity team will travel by plane to seize this incredible opportunity.
The MSU Polo Club holds several creative fundraisers to benefit the care and upkeep of our ponies and facility without any university funding, but all travel and playing expenses are solely paid for by the students on the women’s varsity team. As expected, a once in a lifetime trip like this is costly, and our women need your help to get them there! All funds raised will go entirely to helping pay for the cost of flights, baggage costs for equipment, a rental vehicle, and lodging during the tournament.
The women’s varsity team includes the dynamic, impressive, and strong team members Stesha Payne(President, Team Captain), Jessica Liu(social media manager), Cassie Marcola, and Nicole Kemnitz(barn manager). All four of the girls constantly work to achieve improvement in our club, maintain their intense undergraduate studies, practice long hours, and also juggle home life with jobs and even parenting. They are most deserving of this opportunity that they have worked so hard for!
Please consider contributing any amount to help put them closer to this once in a lifetime chance to play Spartan polo on the West Coast and in a national tournament for the very first time! Go Green, Wear Whites!
The MSU women’s varsity is so grateful for the continuous support from family, friends, alumni, and fans.
