Send Mrs. Medley and Ms. Dosier to PD in Orlando

This upcoming summer, Jessica Medley and Brooke Dosier are looking to take part in a unique professional development opportunity presented by Teach Your Heart Out. From July 6-10, 2023, Teach Your Heart Out will be hosting a hybrid conference that will include learning in both Orlando and the Bahamas. This opportunity will allow us to further develop our teaching and practice by learning from highly-accomplished and experienced educators from around the country. There are a variety of breakout sessions that will be held during this opportunity such as Canva training, intervention training, math without worksheets training, and how to understand an IEP (and many others). We are kindly asking the public to help support our educational growth as middle school teachers. This opportunity is an all-inclusive experience and we will use this funding to pay our way and further our classroom knowledge. This PD opportunity will be a total of fifteen professional development hours for us and as teachers, we need to earn a certain amount of hours each year. I understand the investment you would be making in us by sending us for this opportunity, but we hope to pay it forward by sharing our learning with our staff upon our return.
