We’re the Missoula branch of the Montana Flute Association! We’re currently trying to obtain the funds to go to the National Flute Association Convention in Portland, Oregon. We consist of primarily undergraduate college students, as well as some community members. We collaborate together as a team and with professionals to work on modern and classical flute repertoire. Which we perform at recitals, or any other outreach or entertainment opportunities around our local community. The National Flute Association Convention would give these students and community members the opportunity to both perform and learn from professionals. The convention will provide us with the ability to play with thousands of flutists from around the country. As well as attend multiple performances, masterclasses, and workshops.
