Help Send Moira, Minnesota State Champion, to History Day Nationals!

History Day is a program for students in grades 6-12, focusing on historical research and analysis about a topic of their choosing. Students enter their projects into History Day competitions at school, regional, state, and national levels. Through the process, students develop skills in communication, project management, and historical thinking. This year's theme is Rights and Responsibilities in History.

Moira's documentary is entitled "The Japanese American Incarceration: A Failure of Government Responsibilities and a Violation of Constitutional Rights".

Moira won the junior individual documentary category and has been invited to compete in the National Contest, Washington DC in June 2025. She will join students from all 50 states and US territories for a week of activities, experiences, and tours learning about our nation's history.

As a dedicated student who is proud of her Japanese-American heritage, Moira is excited for this once in a lifetime opportunity and appreciates your support!

Donations of any size are welcome and will be used to support costs related to travel, lodging, registration and miscellaneous expenses. Thank you so much for your support!
