Send Mindi to Therapy on the Rocks
Donation protected
Our dear friend and colleague needs our help. Until last spring, Mindi was running her dream Physical Therapy clinic, operating as the sole proprietor of a small business specializing in Myofascial Release. But after she received her second vaccination shot, Mindi began to develop symptoms of systemic inflammation. A vaccine reaction was identified and documented in her medical chart. Mindi’s symptoms have progressed to the point where she experiences significant weakness, pain, and is unable to tolerate screen time. Subsequently, she has not been able to work for the past 6 months.
We her colleagues have hatched a plan, and Mindi has agreed to it! We want to send her to Sedona for a taste of her own medicine, a two-week Myofascial Release intensive at Therapy on the Rocks. (Mindi has previously benefited from intensive treatment, with almost complete relief of symptoms after a motor vehicle accident in 2007.) She will receive 15 hours of treatment per week, 3 hours per day. Therapy on the Rocks has treated others with vaccine reactions and had success at helping them heal. To get her there, we are seeking funding for the intensive, airfare, lodging, rental car, and food.
Little is yet understood about vaccine reactions and medical treatment is limited. Mindi developed systemic inflammation. Her lymph system appeared not to be able to manage the resulting build-up of fluid, and her chest, neck and head became swollen. Mindi’s sight began to blur and then the headaches started, and she was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. However, feeling she had no alternative, she continued to work while attempting various treatments including Prednisone, injections, and of course, bodywork. Unfortunately the inflammation did not abate, and in the early summer Mindi began to experience cardiac and respiratory symptoms. She ended up at Urgent Care and the Emergency Room on several occasions, but she was unable to find a medical treatment that resulted in relief of her symptoms. She felt too weak to work anymore. In July, Mindi decided to take off the next two months. She was hoping for some recovery time, and then a little time to get caught up on paperwork, which had fallen behind as she had developed intolerance to screens. That was 6 months ago now, and her symptoms are only minimally better. Mindi desperately wants to get back to work. She misses her patients, and also needs her income to re-stabilize. Please help Mindi return to function if you can. Thank you!
