If you know Mike, you know he is not someone that will ask for help, so I will do it for him! Mike is a very giving person who has always shown up for the people in his life. Now that he is in need of help, I would love to see us show up for him.

Mike is incredibly kind, empathetic, and thoughtful. Because of his music and jobs over the years, he is very much a staple in the capital region. If you ever wonder what kind of an impact he has made on the community, try going out with him to dinner one night! You will quickly see that just about everyone that crosses his path knows him and is happy to see him.

Mike recently left his job at The Ruck after 12 years. Very shortly after this, he started to feel unwell and soon found out that he was in liver failure. At this time, Mike is on a long road to recovery and will not be able to work. He is quite weak and slow moving. The current plan is to stick to the diet set fourth by the doctor and follow up with routine blood work. Mike and his partner of 3 years are both unable to work, causing them to use their savings. Any money donated will be used on monthly bills.

I would love to see this community come together to help Mike out. If you are unable to donate, I know he would also be incredibly grateful for a kind message, some delicious (sodium free) Vegan food, or simply some positive thoughts.
