Midnight Sun Theatre is thrilled to be the FIRST theatre company from Alaska ever invited to perform at the International Collegiate Theatre Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland!

From the far north… to an international stage.

We’ve been selected to take our Spring production of "Tick, Tick… Boom!" across the world, sharing not only this powerful, deeply human story, but also something bigger: the Alaskan perspective on the transformative power of arts in small communities.

The kind of storytelling that comes from building art in a place where you have to be resourceful, resilient, and a little bit fearless.

This is a chance to show what’s possible when artists from Alaska step onto a global stage.

But here’s the honest part:

We can’t get there alone.

Getting a full cast and creative team from Alaska to Scotland is no small feat. Travel, lodging, performance rights, music, and production costs add up quickly—and our total is projected at $40,000.

It’s a big number.

But we’re Alaskans. We’re used to big things.
