Hi my name is Michael Poe III and I have recently been selected to represent U.S. U-24 Mixed National Team to compete in the World Flying Disc Federation World U-24 Ultimate Championships in Logrono, Spain, June 21-28, 2025.

As you can imagine, such an opportunity comes with expenses that I am currently working to cover. I am seeking financial support and all donations, big or small, are appreciated and extremely helpful! I am very greatly for your generosity.

National Team Costs:

• 2025 USAU Membership Dues $70

• Transportation to US Training Weekend $0 - 400

• US Team Coaching and Medical $600 - 800

• Tournament Player Fee $400

• Housing/Fields/Food (Training Camp) $600 - 800

• Transportation to/from TC/Worlds (flight, bus) $1,600 - 1,900

Quick about me,

I started playing ultimate frisbee in the spring of 2020 with my high school intramural team the Flint Tropics which was cut short due to the pandemic, but from then on a seed was planted.

I played my first season of club frisbee with Alabama Alliance and won rookie of the year. In college I played with the UAH Nightmares where I found an amazing group of guys who were extremely supportive in my growth not just in the sport but as a person as well. We ended that season feeling that we were good enough to be a nationals caliber team but left a lot on the table. We proved ourselves right by being a dominant force in the southeast and earning a second bid for the region which we were able to cash in for a trip to nationals for the first time in UAH history.

My introduction to mixed ultimate was with Huntsville’s Space Force where we went undefeated at regionals and finished 11th in the country at nationals.

I appreciate everyone who has helped me along this journey, especially anyone who had to go through the trouble of getting me out to practices or tournaments.
